Account Manager (German Speaking)

Location: Brighton & Hove
Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

About the Role

We are seeking a fluent German-speaking Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing business based in Brighton & Hove.

This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys building connections, delivering exceptional customer service, and identifying opportunities for business growth. You will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships across European markets while ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Working closely with internal teams, you will play a key role in supporting customers, nurturing existing accounts, responding to new enquiries, and helping to drive commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience and ensure client satisfaction.
Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and attract new business.
Manage new enquiries and support the onboarding of new clients.
Collaborate with colleagues across account management and customer service functions.
Provide support to operational and customer service teams during busy periods.
Maintain accurate records and utilise internal systems effectively.
Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and delivering a high-quality service.
Support administrative processes and contribute to overall team success.

Skills & Experience

Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken.
Previous experience in account management, customer relationship management, or a similar client-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities with a consultative approach.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Commercially aware with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across different European markets and cultures.
Proficient in using CRM systems and learning new technologies.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
